Abstract Turquoise Earrings with Gold Shimmer

Some mornings the Soča looks like it isn't water at all — more like something lit from underneath, that particular turquoise that doesn't quite exist anywhere else, softened by mist until the color and the fog are almost the same thing. My non-biological aunt is that color to me: beautiful, mysterious, with a good golden heart underneath it all. I was thinking of her the whole time I painted these — teal broken into cracked, uneven cells, gold catching in the seams like early light finding a gap in the mist. Small, handmade — a piece of the person I think of as Turquoise Breeze.

These abstract turquoise studs have a soft gold shimmer that catches the light at every angle. Handmade in small batches from UV resin — a lightweight, one-of-a-kind piece that makes a thoughtful gift.
